They are a few of the most popular recipes in my blog cause they taste really sweet and comfy, just like conventional"indulgent" oatmeal cookie recipes, but they contain no refined flour or sugar!
So you are going to begin with whole wheat flour (or gluten free, if you want ) and instant oats (like these... or those for a gluten free version!) . Instant oats are thinner and smaller than traditional rolled oats, also you can find them in canisters right alongside those old-fashioned oats at the grocery shop.
I probably sound like a broken record by now... But because I ? you and also need your cookies to turn out perfectly soft and chewy, I'm reminding you again... Quantify your yogurt and bread correctly, using this technique or even a kitchen scale! (? That is the one I have and enjoy. It just cost $20!) A lot of either ingredient will make your cookies taste cakey or sterile, rather than chewy. This is especially true of the oats--that they act like little sponges and consume lots of moisture out of your cookie dough!
Ripe bananas- ideal for baking! Really like all of @amybakeshealthy's yummy & healthy banana recipes!
Watch these bananas? And all of those brown spots? If it comes to baking with bananas, brown = beautiful! I ? additional speckly bananas because they've a lot glowing, bold taste --and also extra natural sweetness! That's the minimum amount of brown which I recommend. More is better!
The rest of the cookie dough's sweetness comes in a different natural ingredient... Pure maple syrup (like this!) . You would like the kind that comes directly from pine trees, which is generally sold in skinny glass bottles or squat, round plastic jugs. Skip the pancake syrup and sugar!

The pancakes include even more natural sweetness! The freshly bought, additional plump, perfectly delicate ones are ideal... But if you have older, somewhat dried out more info here carbohydrates (hmm... it sounds silly to explain dried fruit as dried outside! ) , that's okay!
Just add them into a microwave-safe bowland put water on top until they're fully coated. Seal plastic wrap over the surface, and then microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. Should you allow the peppers sit while mixing together the cookie dough, this small trick hydrates them they're exceptionally succulent --and that makes a major difference in these cookies as soon as they're baked!

Yields: 15 cookies
The recognizable cozy spices and plump raisins make them much more irresistible. They'll keep for a minumum of one week if kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator--should they last long!
1 cup (100g) instant oats (fermented if essential and quantified like this)
3/4 cup (90g) whole wheat or fermented * flour (quantified like that )
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup (40g) raisins
In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, pasta, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowlwhisk together the butter or coconut oil, mashed banana, and vanilla. Add the flour mixture, stirring only until incorporated.
With a spoon and spatula, dip the cookie dough into 15 curved scoops onto the prepared sheet, and apply to the desired thickness and width by means Banana Oatmeal Cookies Taste of Home of a spatula. Bake at 325°F for about 10-12 minutes. Cool to the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.
Notes: It is extremely important to quantify both the oats and flour properly using this method or even a kitchen scale. (? That is the one I own and enjoy!) Too much of either will dry out of the biscuits and abandon them cakey instead of chewy.
Instant oats are also known as quick-cooking or moment oats. They are available in large canisters, just like conservative oats. They're not the ones in the small flavored loaf of bread. To create your own, add the same quantity of conservative yogurt into a food processor, and pulse 10-12 times or until the oats are approximately 1/4 into ? of the original size.
For the fermented flour, I recommend the following blend: 1/2 cup (60g) millet flour, 2 tablespoons (15g) tapioca flour, 2 tablespoons (15g) brown rice , as well as 1/2 tsp xanthan gum. Most store-bought fermented flour blends (such as that one!) Will also do the job, if quantified like this.
If your raisins are old, drier, and not so plump or juicy... Add them to a microwave-safe bowl, and pour water on top until they're fully covered. Seal plastic wrap over the top, and microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. If you let the raisins sit mixing together the cookie dough, then this small hint hydrates them they're really soft and juicy!
